To obtain a cannery license
1. Complete CDPH 8589 and Make an information sheet (Example attached)

2. Email Contact UCDavis using the below template. UCDavis may require to send samples for testing.
3. Start to Fill out a PPR license, while you wait for your letter.
4: Follow the wholesale procedure here,

and submit your application with us (we will take it to the Public Health Department of La County for you)
5. Send the letter from UCDavis back with the check and PFR application to the state of California.
6. Wait for the check to clear, and send a copy to the health department to complete your application.
7. LA County will approve you in days, We can schedule orientation, and you can start production.
The State will put your application in process and an inspector will reach out to schedule an inspection.
